The Jefferson Fire Company welcomes new volunteers to contribute their skills and time. Our needs extend beyond firefighting, encompassing various vital roles. Whether you envision yourself on the front lines battling flames, managing traffic and ensuring crowd safety as fire police, or handling administrative tasks like fundraising, budgeting, and website maintenance—we have a role that suits your interests.

By joining our active roster, you directly impact our ability to better serve the community. More hands mean more lives saved and enhanced community safety.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Junior Firefighter (14-17yrs)
• Firefighter (18+)
• Fire Police (18+)

No experience needed! Training is free, gear and unifroms are also provided.

Membership dues are $10.00

REQUIRED BACKGROUND CHECKS

Please select "Volunteer" for both of the required applications from the state.

PA State Police Criminal Records Check- Volunteer Fee is waived

PA Child Abuse History Certification- Volunteer Fee is waived

Once your application is submitted it will be sent to the membership committee, a representative from the committee will contact you and inform you on how the application process works.
