Feb. 2008 - Members get new gym in station
Jefferson Fire Company is committed to the health and well-being of all its members and invested in a gym at the station. This gym will allow members to work toward and maintain the physical conditioning required by fire service. In addition to the benefit of fit firefighters, the residents of West Norriton Township also have the added protection of there being a greater liklihood that a crew will already be in the station when emergency calls are received. The members of the Jefferson Fire Company would like to thank those who made the gym happen (especially F/Fs Mike Harkins, Oram Adamson Jr., Brian Kennedy, and A/C Keith Burton). In addition we would like to thank those local businesses who contributed financially to the gym effort including Wal-Mart, Tornetta Realty, O'Neill Properties, and Fitness Exchange.
